The photo wasn't taken by me. The soap I had was used so it wasn't nice for me to post it up. I took a photo from their facebook and show it here.
I was gifted a bar soap from my classmate and it was peppermint flavored. Yeah I liked peppermint esp peppermint icecream. But it is fine, I don't mind having peppermint soap either, not for consumption though. Hahaha. I am not stupid right. I used shower cream most of my life and I will used whatever my mum put in the bathroom. I am not picky or rather I am too lazy to go buy it myself. I had the soap for a while and didn't use it till a week ago when my friend reminded me. So I think for myself, yeah, why not take out and use it. What surprised me the most is the smell, wow, the peppermint smell is so sweet and strong. Loved it. used it for a week and find that, it was good, skin feel sticky immediately after using it but once I dried myself, it feels good. Since I had only used it for 1 week, I cannot tell if there is any improvement to my skin but definitely there are no undesirable side effects from using it. I will continue to use it. If you used soap and liked handmade natural soap, do consider trying theirs, They have many different flavors and I heard you can even asked for customised version. I set up my itch.io page, do check it out. I will post games I make up there, even if it is made just for fun. https://momokohgames.itch.io/
Cheers, Magus About 2 months ago, I saw a video while browsing through youtube and it intrigued me. You can check out the video here: After watching the video, I started my youtube channel and began to share more videos that I find useful. From then till now, I concluded that starting a youtube channel is easy but building up the viewership is hard. It will take a year or so to monetise it. In order for you to monetise the channel, you will need 1000 subscribers and 4000 watch hours (within the last 365 days). Once you achieve it you can initiate the process of monetisation, youtube will still need to approve the channel and I heard it may take days to months. Currently I have about 18 subscribers. I share videos on relaxing music and money making videos. In the future, I hope I can put up videos of me reviewing books or games, both are my hobbies. If you are like me, interested to learn how to make money on youtube, you can consider attending this free training video -> https://www.digistore24.com/redir/300124/envycold/ or try this https://onlinehustle.teachable.com/p/importantmessage. Cheers, Magus After years of deliberation with my colleague, we had finally agreed on releasing them as ebook on Amazon Kindle. The first title was converted to ebook and is made available a few days ago. Do check it out and support us if you have a kindle device. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08CNFNVCY Cheers, Magus Wow, 2020 really started off with a bang. The major thing being Covid 19 that stated in Wuhan, China about Dec 2019. Because of my job, I followed the news of it closely and knew that it will be all over, worse than SARS. Singapore was hit with SARS in 2013 (if I get the dates correct). I was in university year 3 and was given 1-2 months off from school because of the outbreak in SG, It was scary times but as I was younger, I enjoyed the break from school than worried about it. It cleared up after a few months, with a few deaths. Thus I knew, this will be like SARS and it will be worse since the number of mainland chinese travellers is way bigger than 2013. Very soon we did see cases popping up, and now it has risen to more than 5000 when I posted this. Although this bug is hard to defeat but we will defeat it like SARS. I am not here to rant about Covid 19 since there are enough reports, theories and fake news out there. Since my last post, I lived like a hermit, spending most of my wake hours reading webnovels on QiDian and playing Mobile Legends. After reading 全职高手 (King's Avatar) I am interested in esports and read up about it. I decided to try MOBA and the first one I go for is Heroes of the Storm since I already played that a few years ago. Then I tried LOL (League of Legends) and got thrashed. Afterwhich I found Mobile Legends and got played a lot of it. Sadly I wasn't good enough. I can win but win rate is about 50%. I was called noobs a lot and got a bit discourage and turn to youtube to learn how to play better. While watching MLBB game play and tutorials, I came upon an youtube video about buildbox in Feb. A game engine that can make games without coding. I tried it and sadly the lack of tutorials drove me crazy. And since I prefer to make 2D games, I decided to go back to game maker. I have gamemaker 7 but it was no longer supported and the new engine is Gamemaker Studio 2. It was easy to pick up and I decided to build a game for android. Some of you may know I made a few games (using GameSalad) for iOS back when iphone 3/4 was the craze. I took out the art assets from the game Up and Down and use GMS2 to build it. Took awhile for me to figure how to make it work and published it on google play store. You can find the game here. If you try it, do help me by sharing and give a review. Thank you. After finishing Up and Down, I decided to create a new game. The tentative title is I'm Right, Nothing Left. More info will be provided as I finalise the gameplay. Thanks for reading. Cheers, Magus signing out.
Today I will like to talk about 全职高手, a novel by Butterfly Blue, published on QiDian. This photo wasn't by me, I took it off https://baike.baidu.com/item/%E5%85%A8%E8%81%8C%E9%AB%98%E6%89%8B/6893637. But I did buy the novel, 19 books total. WOW.
I watched the animation series when it first came out and was wowed by the quality. It was really good, as good as japanese animation. But as the anime took its time to produce the second season I watched the drama instead and then as it ended at the midpoint of the story I went to finish the rest by reading the novel. The story started off with the main character Ye Xiu (or Ye Qiu, his 'stolen' identity) being asked to leave the team. He was a professional gamer and was the Team Leader of Jia Shi Squad. Reluctantly he chosed to retired instead of accepting a demotion. Being a professional gamer who retired, he was not able to participate any competition within one year of retirement. He left and went into an internet cafe nearby and started a new life as the cafe manager who worked permanent night shift. That night was also the launch of the 10th server of Glory, the MMORPG he played as a professional gamer. He transfered a character from the first server and began his new adventure in server 10. Later part of the story he fought his way back into the esport arena and well began his journey towards championship. I will leave you to read the story yourself. First I need to say that I don't really like the drama, mainly the changes they did to the storyline. The animation follows the novel more tightly but currently the story is up to the point of 'All stars weekend'. I loved the novel but really hated the ending. Maybe it is just me but why, why must it end like this. As a writer I do understand that people will hate the ending of my story as well, hahaha, but as a reader I really cannot accept this ending. Oh well. Do go and watch the drama or animation or read the novel. Highly recommended. I love the game so much that I am thinking of creating a boardgame out of it, based on the MMORPG Glory, or rather the professional arena where teams battled against each other to become the champion team. I hope I can manage to really build it up. Watch this place for further update if I manage to get the game mechanics to work. Cheers, Magus Finally got my books on google play. Currently only 3 books are made available.
Here's the link: 1. My Ladybird Story 2. Ground Zero 3. Life Bank Enjoy! My books are blocked in 起点. They say that there are contents that is against in their policy. Cheers, Magus Check out this new magazine that talks about fantasy novels.
This promising new magazine will bring you into the fantasy world of fiction. If you like books from Raymond E Feist and David Eddings, go take a look and see what it has to offer. Cheers, Magus Since mid 2018 I have been spending most of my waking hours reading novels on QiDian. There are so many nice chinese fantasy story on QiDian that I cannot stop reading. Till date I had completed about 10 novels and each one was about few hundreds to thousands chapters. That is why I really have no time writing the story I wanted to. Sad!
Another thing in my life now is a sudden desire to collect games for PS Vita. I bought my set few years back and played Persona 4 Golden and Uncharted. Since then I hardly touch it till early feb when I took it out while doing spring cleaning. Since then I have been looking for games to buy, and realising that PS Vita is considered dead but physical games are becoming collectibles items with prices higher that they were just release. Time for me to go back to search the web for more PS vita games to buy. Till next time I come here to blog. |
